Like many of you, I experienced many bumps in the road during my early days online. Some my fault, others, just the nature of the online business — smoke, mirrors, lot’s of hoopla.
Fortunate, at some point, I changed, became a student of the game, and started looking at my work here as if building any offline business. I studied business, I studied advertising, and I applied that which was sound, reasonable, and professional.
Keys to my thinking, and approach, that works for me —
One, this is not the lottery. You do not stop at the corner convenience store, buy a ticket, and hope to win. Nor, is this some magical, secret thing, to be unveiled. My success is found in my habits, my daily habits, my daily routine. Build it, do it, that which is sound, reasonable, and professional, and do it one day at a time.
Two, stop following the hoopla. The smoke, the mirrors, the hype, the hoopla, the joint-ventures, and the good ole boy club launches, will mess you up. Get a purpose, get on it, and stay on it.

Specific events are good for making decisions, but it’s the process of change and growth that has lasting value. If you want to go to the next level in your business, strive for continual improvement.
